Finding Yoga

In college, I worked multiple jobs and my mental health was declining.

I had a preconceived notion that college would miraculously make me find my path but that wasn’t the case. I needed a major, a nap, and a clue.

I decided on a business degree (because that was broad) and happened into my first yoga class.

I WAS HOOKED! The class awakened the power I had within myself to create a healthier life.

Up until that point, I never knew I wasn’t my thoughts. I than began absorbing everything I could about Yoga and Mindfulness.

I wasn’t always set on becoming a yoga teacher. Before Yoga, I was actually quite lost. School was easy but staying true to myself was HARD!

I lacked good friends and role models that showed me the “traditional” path wasn’t my path.

I graduated high school, with the clear idea that I had to go to college (what else would I do?). So I set my sights to get a bachelor degree (in whatever I eventually decided).

Studying Yoga

I quickly felt a larger calling to teach.

I trained with Tiffany Cruickshank and Yoga Medicine.

My certifications:

  • 200hr Yoga Medicine Certificate

  • 60hr Hip Module with Yoga Medicine

  • 60hr Spine Module with Yoga Medicine

I have also taught over 1000+ hours of classes, workshops, and private yoga classes.


I try to merge classical yoga teaching, a deep understanding of anatomy and a level of flow in every class I teach.


I hope that people walk away from my class with a new found discovery of their bodies and knowledge to practice yoga safely.
